什么是90度旋转紧固件？

90度旋转紧固件，每个国家有不同的叫法。 英文： quarter turn fastener system; 日语名：1/4回転ファスナー；

德语：VIERTELDREH-SCHNELLVERSCHLÜSSE；法语：FIXATIONS QUART DE TOUR；

西班牙语：CIERRES DE 1/4 DE VUELTA；意大利语：Quarto di giro Fasteners;FISSAGGI A UN QUARTO DI GIRO.

90度旋转紧固件最开始是为了航空航天行业而发明的一种创新型快锁开拆紧固系统。在安装过程中，它们需要旋转90度或四分之一圈（a quarter），这与它们的名字不谋而合。
90度旋转紧固件从外侧来看仍然有一个突出的头部，但它们不像螺栓等其他紧固件杆体那样有螺纹。取而代之的是，它们通常有一个光滑的机身，机身上有一个封闭的凸轮锁。

与普遍的看法相反，90度旋转紧固件并不是什么新鲜事物。它们已经存在将近一个世纪了。90度旋转紧固件由美国William Dzus在20世纪30年代发明。从那时起，不同类型的90度旋转紧固件已经发布，但它们都使用相同的90度转进行安装。

90度旋转紧固系统的工作原理：

90度旋转紧固件也称为快扣旋转锁紧固件，通常来说这套快扣锁固系统包涵三个零部件：即一个扣件本体（操控部），安装在面板背面的防脱定位垫圈和一个安装夹持自锁基座。如下图所示。其中，操控部是整个系统的主体部分，显露在设备外面。内带卡齿的防脱垫圈可以保持整个操控部即使在柜门开启的时候也不会直接从门上掉落而遗失。

那么，是不是所有的90度旋转紧固系统都一定需要多个不同的子件组合才能实现快速开关门的功能。答案是否定的，信诺华工业当然也提供单个零件之简化版90度旋转紧固件。下图是一个明显的例子。这种情况下通常需要在安装基材的开孔结构上有一个合适的布置。譬如内有狭长的内槽可以容纳扣件的底部T型突出部。

90度旋转紧固件的显著优点包括：

使用螺丝刀或其他常用工具安装和拆卸支架；
当然，另外还有一种更加常见的翼形头部或者边缘带滚花纹路的手柄在开关过程中更加便捷，完全不需要使用任何工具，用手即可实现旋转操作，从而引导门或者盖板的开启和锁闭。

These quarter turn fasteners are ideal for use where a quick-release, reusable fastening is required and are available in various head styles for assembly by hand or a screwdriver.
The Quarter Turn fastener system from Sinohua industries is normally part of a three-piece set(even sometimes there is only two-piece or even one-piece design available), comprising of a Stud, Retaining Washer and Receptacle(Cam).

The stud and the cam are selected according to the overall thickness of both panels - ensuring that the top panel is no thicker than the stud capability - and the cam is selected according to the base panel thickness. *please note the overal strength of the whole quarter turn fastener system is generally depending on the shape/material of the receptacles(cam).

The retaining washer(anti-loss washer), if required, is used to retain the stud in the top panel which performs essential function to keep the stud captive. this might be a very important component that we often overlook.
A quarter turn of the stud closes and releases the assembly so that access can be gained easily as required. 

What are Plastic Quarter Turn Fasteners?

Quarter Turn Fasteners or ¼ turns as they are also called are supplied pre-assembled, making them quick and easy to use and saving time on the production line, 
manufactured from a polymine material or metallic material, the quarter turn is simply pushed into and retained in one panel and then push into the other panel, 
when the Quarter Turn Fastener is engaged a simple quarter turn of the fastener either secures or releases the removable panel.
